Bauxite is a kind of chemistry or biochemistry rock rich in aluminum minerals.And the main minerals components are diaspore,boehmite,gibbsite.As for the formation process,the dissolved alumina was brought from the aluminosilicate minerals by the strong thermal chemical weathering and deposited in the sea or lake basin.The main component of the bauxite is alumina that is a kind of hydrated alumina with impurities.And it is a kind of soil minerals,white or gray,due to iron,it shows the color of brown or light red.Density of 3.9~4g/cm3,hardness of 1~3,opaque,crisp,extremely difficult to melt,insoluble in water,soluble in sulfuric acid sodium hydroxide solution,mainly used for aluminum and the system of manufacture of refractoriness.

Application:
(1) Aluminum industry. For the defense, aviation, automotive, electrical appliances, chemicals, daily necessities, and so on.
(2) Precision casting. Bauxite clinker processed into fine powder made after casting casting. For military, aerospace, communications, instrumentation, machinery and medical equipment sector.
(3) For refractory products. High bauxite clinker refractoriness up to 1780 ℃, chemical stability, good physical properties.
(4) Aluminum silicate refractory fiber. It has the advantages of light weight, high temperature resistance, good thermal stability, low thermal conductivity, small heat capacity and resistance to mechanical vibration. For steel, nonferrous metallurgy, electronics, petroleum, chemical, aerospace, atomic energy, defense and other industries. It is the high-aluminum clinker into the melting temperature of about 2000 ~ 2200 ℃ high-temperature electric arc furnace, the high-temperature melting, high-pressure high-speed air or steam injection, cooling, it becomes a white "cotton" - aluminum silicate Refractory fiber. It can be pressed into fiberglass blanket, plate or woven cloth instead of smelting, chemical, glass and other industrial high temperature furnace lined with refractory bricks. Firefighters can be made of refractory fiber cloth.
(5)To magnesia and bauxite clinker as raw material, adding the appropriate bonding agent for pouring Sheng barrels of the overall barrel lining effect is very good.
